To have this effect on your images you need first, desaturate (or make it black and white) your image then place the filters that comes in the psd file above your image.
1. Open your image on photoshop
2. Go to Images» Adjustments» Desaturate
3. Place the filters above your desaturated image
Done!
Chances are that you notice that the text on the side bar tab is an image and not real text...you can download the file here and customize it with the text you want.
